Kenneth R. “Moon” Mundhenk, 55, Oblong, Illinois, passed away Friday 
June 4, 2010 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois, after suffering a heart attack at his home. He was born in Robinson, Illinois on August 22, 1954, and was the son of Harold “Woody” Mundhenk and Lieuetta (Sholders) Mundhenk. Kenneth worked at L. S. Heath & Sons for several years and was owner and operator of Moon’s Bar & Grille in Ste. Marie, Illinois, until he sold it in 2000. He was a member of Prior Grove Church, rural Oblong and enjoyed working on antique clocks, fishing and cooking, especially on the grill.
 
Kenneth is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-laws Danny & Becky Mundhenk  and Dewayne & Kay Mundhenk; a sister and brother-in-law Nila & Harold Short; a very special companion Sue Miller; step-mother Bernice Mundhenk; several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews; one Aunt  Thelma Mundhenk; and one step-sister Becky & Randy Tracy.
 
Kenneth’s parents preceded him in death.
 
Burial will be in Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
