				     Nancy C. Deeter, 73, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 11:52
				  a.m. EST Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana.
				   
				     Born in Olney, Illinois on February 2, 1937, she was the daughter
				  of Paul Hartrich and Clara (McKimmey) Hartrich. She was a graduate of Newton
				  Community High School ~ Class of 1955.  She was a homemaker.  She
				  was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Oblong.  She
				  enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
				   
				     On March 2, 1957, she married Roger L. Deeter, who preceded
				  her in death on September 25, 2008.  Also preceding her in death were
				  her parents and one son, David Deeter.
				   
				     She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jack & Nancy
				  Deeter; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa & Del Fanning and Christi
				  and David Van Ness; seven grandchildren, Melissa Fanning & Jason Garvey,
				  Megan Van Ness, Haley Van Ness, Laurel Deeter, A. J. Deeter, Kaci Deeter
				  and Michael Deeter; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carolyn Hartrich
				  and Ruth & Don Matheny; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith & Eileen
				  Hartrich, Vincent & Kathy Hartrich, Bill Hartrich, Rick & Marilyn
				  Hartrich, Ted & Susan Hartrich and James & Debbie Hartrich and
				  several nieces and nephews.
				   
				     There will be a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May
				  7, 2010, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ste. Marie, Illinois with Father
				  Al Kemme officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00 – Noon Friday
				  at the Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong.
				   
				     Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution
				  to the Oblong Volunteer Fireman’s Association with envelopes available
			    at the funeral home and cemetery.
