Al "Bim" Collins, 55, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 11:38 p.m. Eastern Time Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana. Born on March 12, 1955, in Vincennes, Indiana he was the son of Alvia Burton Collins and DeElda (Calvin) Collins. He retired May 2010 after 37 years of employment as a Supervisor from Tempco Products, Robinson, Illinois. Al loved fishing, camping, woodworking and the last several years spending time with his grandchildren.

On April 20, 1975, he married Kathy Roberts, who survives. Also surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Tony & Lisa Collins; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen & David Beaman; three grandchildren, Katie Collins, Logan Collins and Alexander Beaman; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna & Richard "Bud" Hawes and Ellen & Larry Fitts; several nieces and nephews.

Al is preceded in death by his parents; one older brother, Everette Collins and one older sister, Rhoda Fitts.

Pastor Rusty Morecraft will officiate the funeral service. There will be a private family graveside service to follow.
