                Maydean Baker, 85, rural Robinson, Illinois passed away Friday
                November 23, 2007 at her residence. Maydean was born June 19,
                1922 and was the daughter of Lewis Robert Calvert and Bessie
                Robinson Calvert. On December 24, 1941, she married Willis
                Eugene "Bud" Baker. Maydean worked at the Index,
                  Cunningham IGA and Martin Grocery Store all in Oblong. She
                  also worked at Victor Dana in Robinson, Illinois retiring in
                  2001 from the Kit Department. She was a member of White Oak
                  Christian Church, rural Oblong and Maydean enjoyed working
                  and traveling with her husband. 
                
                Maydean is survived by her husband Eugene "Bud" Baker;
                  two daughters and a son-in-law Sandy & Kent Funkhouser
                  and Metta Baker; a grandson Chad & Margo Funkhouser; 
                two great granddaughters Katie &  Libby Funkhouser; one
                  brother Robert Dwight & Pat Calvert; several nieces and
                  nephews and one uncle Willis Calvert. 
                
                Maydean's parents; and one brother William Burton Calvert and
                one sister-in-law Mary Wilson Calvert preceded her in death.
                
                Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
