            		  Opal I. Dennis, 89, Robinson, Illinois died Sunday, March
	            				13, 2005 at the Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson, Illinois.
	            				Opal was born April 19, 1915 in Yale, Illinois and was the daughter
	            				of Lester and Gracie (Hampsten) Martin. On December 17, 1932
	            				Opal married Virgil Dennis and he preceded her in death on September
	            				11, 1992. Opal was a homemaker, farmed with her husband north
	            				of Oblong for many years, served as a cook at several area nursing
	            				homes and was a housekeeper for Dr. Sam Allen for several years.
	            				Opal was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the Crawford
	            				County Farm Bureau. Opal loved to quilt.
	            Surviving Opal is one
	            				son Glen Dennis; one daughter Loretta Chapman; four grandchildren
	            				Roger Chapman, Lesa & Merlin Alberts, Lora & Scott
	            		Hale and Janet & Jim Dean; five great-grandchildren Jesse
	            		Chapman, Eric Chapman, Brian Alberts, Stefanie Hale and
	            		Cortney Palardy; five nephews; four nieces and many great nephews
	            		and
	            		nieces.
	            Preceding Opal was
	            				her parents, husband, two brothers: Lloyd	Martin & Gerald
           				Martin and two sisters: Gladys Huddlesten	and Bertha Boyd.
	            Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
