Irene Boldrey, 75, Oblong, Illinois died Thursday April 10, 2003 at her residence. Irene was born in Whiting, Indiana on November 19, 1927 and was the daughter of Michael Stecz and Mary (Napuda) Stecz. On November 28, 1947, she married Evert Wayne Boldrey, who died February 12, 1982. Irene was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Oblong. Her hobbies included reading, and watch all types of sports.

Irene is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Robert & Tiffany Boldrey; three daughters and sons-in-laws Debbi & Mark Lowrance, Karen & Chuck Bailey and Diane R. Baker; ten grandchildren Michael Bailey, Chuck & Karen Reynolds, David & Chris Reynolds, Angela (Baker) Osborn, Levi Slater, Rendi Lowrance, Callissa Lowrance, Mychal Lowrance, Chelsea Boldrey and Nick Boldrey; three step grandchildren Adam Herr, Courtney Herr and Ethan Herr; one great granddaughter Ivy Diane Baker; one brother John Stecz along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Irene in death were her parents, husband, two brothers Chuck & Michael Stecz and two sisters Mary Smiljanic and Ann Olenus.

Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
